Established in 2006, Lettings Genie built a successful business providing a support service to letting agents, private landlords and estate agents, aimed particularly at helping those inexperienced in residential letting enter the market. Following extensive market research in 2009, the firm commissioned software programmers to create “exactly what agents are looking for.”

The result is a sophisticated letting management system, developed through genuine experience and knowledge of the letting market and based on true customer need. And even better, available on a pay as you go basis.

The concept is the brainchild of Jenny Markham who wants to break the mould, raise professional standards in the industry, and disrupt the stranglehold of expensive ‘pay upfront’ systems which make it difficult for new and small entrants to the lettings marketplace. Jenny says: “This isn’t a money-driven exercise. We are making this system available to everyone at a reasonable price on the basis that if they can succeed and make money in lettings, then we will prosper too. It is a real partnership.”
